How to have a Successful Garage Sale? I’m having one next week and want to know what other ways can I advertise my garage sale. I put an ad in the penny saver and the newspaper. Is there any websites to advertise Garage Sales?

You can list Garage Sales on Craigslist – if you have one for your location.

We have the best luck with the Thrifty Nickel – which is like the PennySaver.

We also put out big readable signs on major street intersections near our house and each major turn to our house. We invested in several good white plastic poster board and stands. We got them at Loews. There was enough room to write Yard Sale, Day(Fri – Sat.), location. We can use them several times – if we have it on the same days.(We don’t put a specific date so we can reuse them). We have a lot of traffic that goes by the entrance to our subdivision – so we have a big sign on each side of the turn in. Be sure the print is big and neat. So many times we can’t read the info as we pass by signs.
