Pricing a Garage Sale?

Our neighborhood is Having A Yard Sale this Saturday, and my husband and I have lots to sale. I just don’t know what to price things at. We have lots and lots of baby clothes “boys and girls” Lots of toys “I know they don’t sale to well, but still trying to clear them out”, and I have some pieces of furniture that I am putting in the sale as well “A couch and matching chair, and a dresser” But like I said before I don’t know what to price things at. I would like to get a reasonable price for everything, but know if I mark it to high it will not sale. Please help me with how I should price things, and what you would spend on yard sale items. This is my first yard sale to ever have so I am a little nervous on messing it up. Your help is appreciated.

With the baby clothes, I would go with .25 or .50 per item, action figures I would throw in a .50 box. Other toys, it depends on what they are. I had a woman tell me at a garage sale that .50 was too high for my books, the other garage sale was pricing them at .25. The thing to remember is that people go to Garage Sales looking to find decent things very cheap. Just because you spent $50 on a toy doesn’t mean you should sell it for $40. You might be lucky to get $10.
